AUR starts the procedure to suspend Nicușor Dan and announces that it will not support any government

The National Leadership Council (CNC) of AUR unanimously adopted, during an extraordinary meeting held on Wednesday in Alexandria, the decision to initiate the procedure for the suspension of President Nicușor Dan.

According to the statement, AUR argues that this initiative is justified by "the exclusion of an important part of Romanians from decision-making regarding the future of Romania, as well as the refusal regarding the nomination of the second proposal for prime minister, as is constitutional."

Additionally, the CNC voted for the organization of early elections, emphasizing the need for "a return to the people."

Furthermore, AUR has decided that its parliamentarians will not support any government proposed by the president.
