Alina Gorghiu: "There is no question of PNL leaving the government, we have a political responsibility that is more important than electoral calculations."

PNL Deputy Alina Gorghiu stated in an interview that the party does not intend to leave the governing coalition, despite the controversies surrounding the PSD amendments to the 2026 budget.

She described the speculations regarding the Prime Minister's resignation and PNL's exit from the government as "totally immature" and emphasized that such topics have not been discussed within the Executive Bureau. Gorghiu rejected the idea of competition between PNL and PSD, stressing that Romania is in a delicate economic and international security context.

She reaffirmed PNL's commitment to political responsibility, emphasizing that the party must focus on solutions and not on anticipating political crises.
