Conclusions of the discussions at Cotroceni. Agreement on defense, but without an understanding on the PNRR, announces Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated on Digi24 that, following the consultations at the Cotroceni Palace with the leaders of pro-European parties, an agreement was reached on the defense component through SAFE. However, regarding the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), the discussions did not lead to an understanding, but only highlighted the existing difficulties.

Bolojan mentioned that the discussions focused on ongoing projects and sensitive issues, such as the salary law and the decarbonization process. A working group will be formed to seek solutions in the upcoming period. The consultations were attended by the leaders of the main political parties, including PSD, PNL, USR, and UDMR, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between parties in these critical areas.
