Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan declared on Friday, in Chișinău, that he has agreed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to propose diplomatic sanctions against Russian diplomats in Bucharest in the CSAT. He emphasized the importance of actions on three fronts: diplomatic, security at the eastern borders, and the SAFE Program. In collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, Bolojan requested NATO allies to transfer military technologies, including anti-aircraft capabilities and radars for drone detection.

He also mentioned that Romania will sign contracts to equip the Army with defense equipment worth approximately 10 billion euros by 2030. Bolojan criticized legislative delays that affect national security but assured that the government is working to improve the country's defense capabilities.
