The designated Prime Minister Adrian Veștea declared on Monday, after negotiations with AUR, that he discussed economic measures with leader George Simion, in the context of seeking the necessary support for his government.
“We discussed a series of economic measures that the representatives of the AUR Party desire. I assured them of my full availability for all aspects that are not in the government program and which, following evaluations, will not create an economic impact and can be supported by the Romanian budget in the upcoming period, so that we can include them. Moreover, I am open to any request that can lead to better governance, the implementation of reforms, or finding solutions that Romanians have been waiting for a long time,” said Veștea.
Accompanied by the proposed ministers, Sorin Cîmpeanu and Bogdan Ivan, the designated prime minister emphasized the importance of open dialogue with all political formations. According to available information, the Veștea government cannot obtain the Parliament's vote without the support of AUR parliamentarians.
