Adrian Veștea claims that he has the majority for the investment: "I assure that we will have over 240 votes"

The designated Prime Minister, Adrian Veștea, stated that he has guarantees regarding the parliamentary support necessary for the investment of the new Government, estimating support of over 240 votes.

In his first public appearances after the nomination made by Nicușor Dan, Veștea stated that he will maintain the government program previously assumed by Ilie Bolojan and called for unity within the PNL, in the context of the tensions caused by his nomination.

Meanwhile, the parties from the former governmental arc are analyzing their positioning towards the future Executive, and the PNL leadership is set to discuss the situation in an internal meeting.
