The designated Prime Minister Adrian Veștea announced that he will submit the list of proposed ministers for the new Cabinet, as well as the government program, to Parliament on Wednesday.

Adrian Veștea specified that the list of future ministers will include members of the National Liberal Party (PNL), but he avoided providing further details regarding their names. The only exception is Alexandru Nazare, whom he wishes to appoint as Minister of Finance.

According to information that has emerged in the public space, Adrian Veștea is said to have had a direct discussion with Ana Maria Gavrilă, the leader of POT. During the negotiations, she reportedly requested the portfolio of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in exchange for supporting the future Executive.

At the same time, Ninel Peia, a representative of the PACE parliamentary group, is said to have requested the takeover of the Ministry of Defense, while Cosmina Cerva, elected on the SOS Romania lists and currently affiliated with the same parliamentary group, is said to have requested the leadership of the Ministry of Justice.

The designated Prime Minister explained that he wishes to finalize all details before making the complete list of ministers public, in order to avoid any potential confusion. He emphasized that his priority is the rapid formation of the new government and the streamlining of the Cabinet's establishment process.
