Oana Țoiu told the Annual Meeting of Romanian Diplomacy that security in the Black Sea is crucial for the EU and underlined the challenges posed by Russia. She called for a paradigm shift in Romania's foreign policy, without abandoning fundamental values such as EU and NATO membership. Țoiu stressed the importance for Romania to be more visible and active in shaping the security agenda, with a responsibility to lead the discussions and contribute to the stability of the region.
