At the European Defense and Security Conference in Brussels, the Minister of National Defense, Ionuț Moșteanu, detailed Romania's plans to use the SAFE European funds. These funds will be directed towards the acquisition of essential military capabilities and the development of critical infrastructure on the Eastern Flank, with the aim of improving connections with Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova.
