Naroditsky stood out in the world of chess since childhood, winning the Under 12 section of the World Youth Chess Championship in 2007. At just 14 years old, he published the book "Mastering Positional Chess" and won the US Junior Championship in 2013, obtaining the title of grandmaster at the end of the same year. He was awarded the Samford Chess Fellowship in 2014 and continued to be a top competitor in the US Championships.

Naroditsky also had a YouTube channel with over 484,000 subscribers, where he streamed chess games. His last video was posted on October 17, after a creative break. The family has requested privacy during this period of mourning.
