Ionuț Moșteanu, Minister of National Defense, said that Romania is on a positive trend in the budget allocation for defense, with recent estimates indicating a 2-2.9% of GDP. He stressed the importance of meeting the 3.5% commitment for defense and 1.5% for infrastructure, noting that better infrastructure will benefit the entire population. Moșteanu is optimistic that these goals can be achieved by 2035.
