Nicuşor Dan met with the leaders of PSD, PNL, USR, and UDMR to discuss the reform of public administration, setting a two-week deadline for agreements.

The meeting took place in the context of tensions within the coalition, which led to the blocking of the administration reform. Nicușor Dan presented the budgetary impact of reducing 13,000 positions, estimating savings of 1.4 billion lei. The leaders agreed to form a working group to establish a formula for cutting positions. The PSD requested that the reform be left to the discretion of the mayors, not imposed centrally. Prime Minister Bolojan threatened to resign if an agreement on reducing expenses was not reached.
