As part of the budget project for 2026, Poland will allocate 200 billion zlotys (approximately 46.87 billion euros) for defense, which represents a slight increase of 4.7% of GDP compared to the current year. This decision is part of a program to modernize the army, in the context of threats from Russia. Poland, an important ally of Ukraine, plays an essential role in the logistical and military support of Kyiv, with up to 95% of aid passing through its territory.
