Metrorex has issued the Order of Commencement of Works for the Ion I.C. Brătianu station, part of the Metro Line 6.

The works for Metro Line 6, Lot 1.2, have entered a new stage, with significant progress being made at several stations. The project will provide the link to Otopeni Airport and is financed both from the state budget and from reimbursable external funds. Lot 1.2 will include 6 new stations and will be 7.6 km long.
