Metrorex has published the construction journal for the future M6 metro line, announcing significant progress on both sections of the route. This will connect the airports in Bucharest. In October, the structural work on the southern section reached 52%, with notable achievements at the Tokyo, Băneasa Airport, and Băneasa Train Station. For example, at the Tokyo station, 43 cubic meters were excavated and 7,828 cubic meters of concrete were poured, with a progress rate of 60%.
On the northern section, the total completion percentage of the structural work is 34%. The works include excavations and pours at the Washington, Paris, and Otopeni stations. At the Otopeni station, for example, 75% of the guide bed has been completed. Metrorex continues to monitor progress and publish updates to inform the public about the status of the works.
