Romașcanu underlined the importance of Romania's partnership with the EU and the US in the country's development and defense. He emphasized that Romania, a sovereign state, defends its interests in the current global context, mentioning the financial contributions and benefits received from the EU. He was also appointed member of the European Court of Auditors for a six-year term.
