Apple launches iPhone Duo, its first foldable phone, which will cost starting at $1,999 and will be released on October 23

iPhone Duo features a horizontally folding design, with a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.4-inch outer display. The main display includes an under-display camera and an anti-reflective finish that makes the crease less noticeable. The phone uses Touch ID, the A20 Pro chip, the C2 modem, and operates exclusively with eSIM.

The device features two 48-megapixel cameras, support for multitasking, and usage modes with the screen partially folded. Battery life reaches 31 hours for video playback on the inner display and 44 hours on the outer display. Apple Pencil will be compatible later, and the company hopes that the phone could reach 25% of the foldable-device market by the end of the year.
