Apple TV is available in Romania starting September 14, with the American company announcing the launch of its streaming service in the local market. Users can access Apple Original productions through the Apple TV app or on the tv.apple.com website.
The monthly subscription costs 39.99 lei, while the annual subscription is available for 349 lei. New subscribers benefit from a seven-day free trial. In addition, for a limited time, people who purchase and activate a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV 4K, or Mac receive three months of access at no additional cost.
The platform includes drama and comedy series, films, documentaries, and programs for children and families, with new releases every week. Among the titles promoted by the company are “The Studio,” “Ted Lasso,” “Severance,” “Pluribus,” “CODA,” and “F1.”
Launched globally in 2019, Apple TV is now available in more than 100 countries and regions. The service can be accessed on Apple devices, smart TVs made by Samsung, LG, Sony, and TCL, Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as through Chromecast with Google TV.
According to Apple, its productions have received more than 900 awards and over 3,800 nominations.
