Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that there is information about a possible massive Russian attack in the coming night, urging citizens to heed air raid alerts and take shelter.
He emphasized that Russia prioritizes war over diplomacy, targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure with ballistic missiles, instead of participating in peace efforts initiated by the United States. Additionally, Ukraine is facing a significant drop in temperatures, forecasted to reach as low as minus 10 degrees Celsius, which puts additional pressure on electricity, heating, and water supply networks, already affected by attacks. The Dnipropetrovsk region has experienced the most severe power outage in nearly four years, with about 600,000 people without electricity and water.
Zelensky discussed with Prime Minister Iulia Sviridenko the possibility of limiting activity in schools and other non-essential facilities in the next two weeks.
