The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that he is willing to collaborate with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to counter Iranian attacks with drones and missiles. Zelensky emphasized that Russia supports Iran by providing components for its drones, having valuable experience in combating these attacks, gained during the war with Russia. Although the Israeli government previously rejected Ukraine's collaboration proposals, Zelensky mentioned that he had contacts with Israeli emissaries. Zelensky warned about the improvements made to Iranian Shahed drones, which have been tested in combat conditions, and emphasized that these developments could affect not only Ukraine but also other countries considered enemies by Russia. Additionally, Ukraine has sent teams of experts to various countries in the Middle East to help combat drone attacks. In a recent interview, Zelensky reiterated Ukraine's willingness to offer expertise and technological capabilities to the United States, emphasizing that Ukrainian air defense systems can effectively complement American capabilities. He highlighted that Iranian drones are much cheaper than Patriot missiles, making competition difficult in terms of costs. Despite the skepticism expressed by former President Trump, Zelensky hopes that this collaboration will lead to greater support from the U.S. for Ukraine.
