At a conference in Paris, Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the need for a meeting with Vladimir Putin to end the conflict, but he refused to meet in Moscow, suggesting that it could be a trap. Putin provoked a reaction by questioning Zelensky's legitimacy, warning that Russia would continue its military offensive if negotiations fail. Zelensky also discussed with President Macron details about security guarantees for Ukraine in the event of a peace agreement.
