Volodimir Zelenski has announced the appointment of Lieutenant General Anatoli Krivonojko as the new commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, replacing Mikola Oleșchciuk. Zelensky stressed the need for coordinated development of combat aviation and anti-aircraft defense, citing the arrival of Mirage jets from France and the expansion of the F-16 fleet. He also underlined Ukraine's achievements in maintaining control of its airspace in the face of Russian aggression, thanking citizens for their heroism.
