During a visit to the Kharkov front, Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski said mercenaries from countries such as China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Pakistan are joining the Russian army. Both sides in the conflict, Ukraine and Russia, are using foreign fighters. Zelenski has discussed with commanders the need for additional drones and troops in the context of a recent massive attack on Ukraine by Russia. Ukraine has also launched drones over Russia's Saki airbase, destroying fighter jets.
