Xiaomi's recently launched Model YU7 has a starting price 10,000 yuan lower than the Model Y, attracting 200,000 orders in just three minutes. Xiaomi is collaborating with BYD, GAC Toyota and Zhengzhou Nissan to develop an integrated ecosystem. With a driving range of up to 835 kilometers, the YU7 presents itself as a serious competitor to the Model Y and other models on the market. The initiative is part of the company's $10 billion program to expand into the electric vehicle sector.
