Donald Tusk, the Prime Minister of Poland, stated in an interview with The Sunday Times that Ukraine is prepared to fight against Russia for another two to three years, based on a recent conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Tusk reiterated Poland's constant support for Ukraine, stating that he has no doubts that it will survive as an independent state. He also mentioned that, despite calls from the United States for peace negotiations, Zelensky remains determined to continue the war. The Polish Prime Minister emphasized that Russia has a fundamental advantage in the will to continue the conflict and warned that Europe must prepare to face threats, even though it may be too late for complete preparation.
