The new type of GAZAP munition has been unveiled by Turkey as a highly destructive, ready-to-use thermobaric bomb. It can be dropped from Turkish air force F-16 jets and uses a combination of oxygen and fuel for violent explosions. Turkey also showcased the NEB-2 Ghost anti-tank NEB-2 anti-tank weapon at the same arms exhibition. Thermobaric weapons have been used in recent conflicts, including by Russia in Ukraine and the Soviet Union in Afghanistan.
