A clip made with the help of artificial intelligence, in which Donald Trump throws Stephen Colbert into a dumpster, was posted on the social network Truth Social. This appeared about a day after Trump expressed his joy that Colbert's "Late Show," aired by CBS, had ended after 33 years.

Trump, known for his harsh criticism of Colbert and other talk show hosts, previously stated that the show had no talent and was devoid of an audience. The clip shows Colbert announcing the end of the show, at which point Trump intervenes, lifts him up, and throws him into the dumpster, then dancing to the song Y.M.C.A.

Colbert also commented on a $16 million deal with Trump, calling it a "huge bribe."
