American President Donald Trump publicly unveiled on Friday the image of a new limited edition American passport, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the USA. Trump announced on his Truth Social platform that the passport includes the message "Welcome, but behave yourselves!" The image shows Trump with a grim expression, leaning against his desk, with the text of the Declaration of Independence in the background. On the second page, there is a painting of the signing of the Declaration from 1776, accompanied by the phrase "United States of America 250." The White House has named this document the "Patriot Passport."

It is important to note that no sitting American president has ever been included on passports. This initiative is part of a series of decisions through which Trump imposes his mark on national symbols, generating accusations of a cult of personality. Additionally, Trump's signature will appear on future American banknotes, a first for a sitting president.
