American President Donald Trump announced that he decided to postpone the signing of an executive order regarding Artificial Intelligence, stating that he did not like 'certain aspects' of the document. The signing ceremony was scheduled for Thursday afternoon, in the presence of the chief executives of major companies in the field. The purpose of the decree was to establish a voluntary framework for AI developers to collaborate with the U.S. government before the public launch of new models. Trump also intended to mandate the use of advanced models to improve the cybersecurity of government systems and the vital sectors of the economy, such as banks and hospitals. The postponement of the signing could affect the profits of companies in the field by delaying the launch of new models or by imposing additional regulations. Trump did not provide further details about his concerns regarding the document.
