Donald Trump has announced he is to make a "major statement" on Russia as the US prepares new arms deliveries to Ukraine purchased by NATO. He said he was disappointed with Moscow and detailed a recent agreement under which NATO will reimburse the cost of weapons sent to Ukraine. Trump reiterated his criticism of Putin and said the Senate will discuss a tougher sanctions bill against Russia, backed by Senator Lindsey Graham. The statement comes in the wake of intensified Russian attacks on Ukraine.
