MP Lee Anderson has refused to apologize. His comments have been condemned across the British political spectrum, with the chairwoman of the Labour Party labeling them as unambiguously ,,racist and Islamophobic". Sadiq Khan is the first Muslim mayor of the British capital to hold the post since 2016.
