This is the most profitable sales day in the museum's history, with 80,000 people in the online queue. The tapestry, which illustrates the Norman conquest of England in 1066, is 70 meters long and will be displayed for the first time in Great Britain.

Adult tickets cost £33 during peak times and £27 outside of those times, significantly higher prices than those in Normandy. Although heritage protection organizations have expressed concerns about the tapestry's damage during transport, recent tests have confirmed that it will be safe. The tapestry will be transported by a train without passengers, with a police escort throughout the journey. Those who were unable to purchase tickets will have other opportunities in October and January.
