The US Embassy in Pristina announced the indefinite suspension of the strategic dialogue with Kosovo, citing concerns related to the measures of the interim government led by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, which have exacerbated tensions, especially in the north with a Serbian majority. Although Kosovo expresses its commitment to peace and stability, relations with the US have reached a new low, in the context where the European Union has imposed sanctions for fueling ethnic tensions.
