A charter flight from Louisiana transported 100 Iranians back to Iran, following discussions between American and Iranian officials. This expulsion is part of an initiative by the Trump administration to increase the number of deportations of immigrants without legal status, in the context of concerns related to illegal migration. The identity of the expelled Iranians and the reasons for their immigration remain unclear, but the Iranian Foreign Ministry has assured that they will be safe upon return.
