The American ambassador to the UN, Tammy Bruce, emphasized that this attack, which took place near the border with Poland, threatens regional and international security and risks escalating the war. British officials also condemned the Russian attacks, describing them as "barbaric" and highlighting the devastating impact on civilians, especially during winter. In response, Russia dismissed the criticisms, stating that its military does not target civilians.
