The United Arab Emirates activates air defense systems after Iranian attacks. Iran targets the aluminum industry and American military sites.

The United Arab Emirates announced on Sunday a rocket and drone attack, and the Ministry of Defense activated air defense systems in response to threats from Iran.

Authorities assured that the sounds heard throughout the country are the result of ongoing operations to intercept these attacks.

In a statement from the Iranian official agency Irna, the Iranian army declared that it targeted facilities in the aluminum industry in the United Arab Emirates, as well as American military bases, especially in Kuwait.
