Who is the attacker at the Correspondents' Dinner

Cole Tomas Allen, a 31-year-old man from Torrance, California, has been identified as a suspect in the incident on Saturday evening at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

Allen, who works as a part-time teacher at C2 Education, was subdued by law enforcement near the scene of the incident, where President Trump and other officials were present.

His LinkedIn profile shows that he graduated from the California Institute of Technology in 2017 with a degree in mechanical engineering and obtained a master's degree in computer science last year. Allen was also named 'Teacher of the Month' by C2 Education in December 2024.

Federal Election Commission records show that he donated $25 to Kamala Harris's presidential campaign in October 2024.

The incident raised security concerns, occurring in a highly significant official setting.
