Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, the Prime Minister of Qatar, stated that his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, should answer to justice for the attack on Hamas leaders in Doha, which compromised the chances of releasing hostages from Gaza. Netanyahu threatened Qatar, demanding the expulsion of terrorists or their being brought to justice. Al-Thani emphasized that Netanyahu's actions have destroyed any hope for a solution, and Qatar is reevaluating its role as a mediator in the negotiations for a ceasefire.
