The U.S. Pentagon announced on Wednesday the implementation of a new screening policy for testosterone deficiency, which will be mandatory for all active duty members and reservists aged 30 and over.
This decision was made following an announcement in July made by Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, who emphasized the importance of monitoring hormonal health among military personnel.
The detailed guidelines published by the Pentagon aim to assess testosterone levels to identify any deficiencies that could affect the performance and well-being of soldiers.
