The psychedelic festival Ozora, one of the largest trance music events in Europe, has decided to cancel the concerts starting at midnight, following two deaths that occurred during its course.
On Saturday, a 45-year-old American man died after falling from a height while climbing a decorative structure near the main stage. Authorities suspect that he may have intentionally jumped. On the same day, a 39-year-old Hungarian woman died, likely due to the intense heat, despite attempts at resuscitation.
The festival organizers, which began on July 24 in the town of Dádapuszta, announced that all musical programs will conclude following these tragic events. Hungary is under maximum alert for heat, with temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius over the weekend.
