The exhibition "Dalí, between art and myth" in Parma was affected by suspicions of forgery, resulting in the confiscation of 21 works, including drawings and engravings. Doubts arose following a routine inspection, when officials noticed the absence of significantly valuable works. The Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation confirmed that it was not contacted for the exhibition, which raised questions. Investigations continue to verify the authenticity of the works, and the police emphasize that forgeries are a global problem in contemporary art.
