The Iranian state television interrupted on Tuesday a recorded interview with Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the speaker of parliament and the main negotiator in talks with the US, generating negative reactions from his team.

The media center of parliament expressed regret for this decision, mentioning that the interview was sent over two hours before the broadcast. According to a statement, IRIB should have coordinated with the media center of parliament before deciding not to broadcast part of the discussion.

The interview was divided into two parts, and the unbroadcast part addressed essential topics of the agreement with the US, including IAEA inspections and the unfreezing of Iranian assets.

Ghalibaf stated in the broadcast part that the agreement with the Americans allowed Iran to sell its oil, mentioning that it exported over 40 million barrels of oil after the lifting of the blockade.
