Egypt inaugurates the Grand Egyptian Museum, which houses 100,000 artifacts, including the treasure of Tutankhamun, representing a celebration of the greatness of Egyptian civilization.

The Grand Egyptian Museum, planned since 1992 and inaugurated on November 1, 2025, represents a fulfilled dream for Egypt. The museum, covering an area of 500,000 square meters, began construction in 2005. It houses an impressive collection of 100,000 artifacts, including the 5,398 pieces of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. The opening ceremony included drone shows and messages of peace, marked by the presence of 79 foreign dignitaries. The museum will offer permanent and temporary exhibitions, including a virtual room and a children's museum. Visitors will be able to admire statues, sarcophagi, and relics from various periods of Egyptian civilization, highlighting its grandeur and timelessness.
