Following an acute water shortage, the Tehran administration has decided to close public toilets, including those in metro stations, sparking discontent among residents. Water and power shortages have become a priority for Iranian citizens, with water cuts of up to 48 hours in several areas. The government has suggested saving water, but additional measures, such as reducing the working week or temporarily closing the capital, are being considered. The president described the situation as a "natural disaster" and mentioned the possible relocation of the capital to avoid chaos.
