Taiwan's Ministry of Defense announced that 74 Chinese fighter jets have been detected around the island in the past 30 hours, including 50 planes and 6 ships in 24 hours. The incursions came shortly after a British ship crossed the Taiwan Strait. China continues to consider Taiwan part of its territory, maintaining constant military pressure on the island, which includes frequent flights of military jets and warships near the island. Taiwan accuses China of espionage and cyber attacks to weaken its defenses.
