According to a recent report, Switzerland dominates the European rankings regarding train punctuality, followed by the Netherlands. In contrast, Romania is in last place in the European Union, with an alarmingly low rate of 20% for long-distance trains. Meanwhile, the Netherlands and Belgium had a punctuality rate of 88%, while Germany, with 54%, is among the least punctual. Additionally, Switzerland is also distinguished by the quality of its railway stations, with Zurich Hauptbahnhof at the top of the ranking.
