In an interview with TVP World, he mentioned recent acts of sabotage in Poland as an example of hybrid threats, which include cyberattacks and espionage. Jonson praised Poland's rules of engagement and emphasized the importance of deterrence through denial.
Sweden supports NATO's deterrence structures and participates in nuclear exercises. Additionally, Jonson highlighted Sweden's support of 7.5 billion euros for Ukraine and cooperation with Poland in the defense sector, including in the Orca submarine program. He stated that Poland and Sweden interpret the threat from Russia in a similar way, thereby strengthening bilateral cooperation.
