Sweden is working on a comprehensive security assistance package for Ukraine, announced following discussions between Swedish Defense Minister Pal Jonson and his Ukrainian counterpart Mykhailo Fedorov. This package includes air defense systems, radars produced by Saab, electronic warfare equipment, and long-range drones.

This is one of the most consistent forms of military support offered by Sweden since the beginning of the war, aiming at both direct deliveries of equipment and investments in Ukraine's defense industry. There was also discussion about strengthening defense against ballistic threats and the PURL initiative, which aims to equip Ukrainian forces with essential weaponry. Another important topic was cooperation in military innovation, with a joint program between the Ukrainian Brave1 cluster and Sweden for funding and testing technological solutions on the front.

Joint production projects in the defense sector will take place in Sweden, focusing on security technologies developed in Ukraine. Additionally, there was discussion about the possible supply of Gripen fighter jets and the transfer of Meteor missiles, essential for combating enemy aircraft.
