The Bulgarian Minister of Interior, Ivan Demerdjiev, confirmed that the fire broke out after a truck caught fire near the warehouse. The BG-ALERT warning system was activated to inform the population about the danger.
So far, there is no information about casualties or injuries. Five fire trucks and gendarmerie units have been dispatched to the scene to manage the situation.
