Shein has announced that it is ready to fully cooperate with the French authorities in the investigation regarding the sale of child-like sex dolls. The company's spokesperson, Quentin Ruffat, stated that Shein will provide the names of customers who purchased these products if requested.
The investigation was opened by the Paris Prosecutor's Office, also targeting other online retailers such as AliExpress, Temu, and Wish, for distributing products accessible to minors. Following the findings, Shein has imposed a total ban on sex dolls and has removed all associated advertisements. The French Minister of Finance has warned that he will take drastic measures if the products reappear on the platform. Shein is also preparing to open its first physical store in Paris.
